More thoughts on losing it.

Well here I am thinking I am losing it. I usually laugh about my usual idiocy but now it is not so funny.
I was driving to the shops and pulled up at a traffic light, normal light, nothing special, only I turned right! I wasn't in the turning lane. Needless to say the cars that were turning were a little put out by old grey haired driver gaily turning in front of them.
I was so horrified that I almost turned around to go home but decided to be a grownup and get on with my shopping. I am scared to think what I will get up to in the driving department because I do not want to cause an accident.
I will take things slowly and if there are any more near misses I will cease driving and let the bus driver take me places.
Other than my driving I am sort of ok.  Admittedly I still forget the names of things. Ordering coffee is difficult. I can never remember what I want; it helps to go into places where they know me and can translate my garbled order into actual coffee.  Just in case.....I have half strength cappuccino.
Fingers crossed I will keep my wits or the wits I have left.
I am not enjoying getting older, it is very scary.
